Is a Brooklyn-based community activist, digital marketing strategist, and baker. She holds a master’s in food studies from New York University and a bachelor’s in food science from the Pennsylvania State University. She has been featured in Chemical Senses, Journal of Physiology and Behavior, Brooklyn Based, The James Beard Foundation Blog, Dish Rag Magazine and more. Her most recent publication, “Adapting Queer Foodways”, debuted in Gastronomica Fall 2020. Prior to COVID-19, she was a pastry assistant and line worker for a Brooklyn-based fast-casual restaurant, Win Son Bakery. Her previous endeavors consist of freelancing for organizations such as the James Beard Foundation and Cherry Bombe. In her free time, you can catch her at local queer activist events, playing basketball, or baking her famous cinnamon rolls.
